Stanfield House Nursing Home
Welcome to Stanfield House Nursing Home – a warm and welcoming home set in beautiful Worcestershire countryside. Nestled within mature gardens overlooking Rushwick Cricket Ground and open farmland towards the Malvern Hills, Stanfield offers peaceful rural living within easy reach of Worcester.
Our home combines the charm of a Grade II listed Georgian house with the comfort of modern, purpose-built extensions completed in 2007 and 2014. Inside, you’ll find 38 spacious bedrooms, including a choice of single and double rooms, each designed to provide a safe, comfortable and truly homely environment.
We offer three different room types:
- 15 single rooms with en-suite shower and toilet
- 14 single rooms with en-suite toilet
- 9 single and double rooms with wash hand basins
Every room is furnished and includes a nurse call system and television point, but we encourage residents to bring their own furniture and personal touches to help create a real home-from-home.
Gardens and Outdoor Spaces
Stanfield is surrounded by two secure, sensory gardens for residents and visitors to enjoy.
- The first garden has a tranquil, walled-garden feel, with sheltered seating areas and gentle pathways forming a circular walk.
- The second garden opens out towards the Malvern Hills, featuring a circular path, greenhouse and raised vegetable patch for those who love to garden.
Both gardens include safe water features, adding a calming and soothing atmosphere enjoyed by many of our residents.
Communal Living
There are a variety of welcoming communal areas throughout the home, offering choice and comfort for everyone. The ground floor features:
- A bright dining room and tearoom
- A large lounge with a Georgian bay window
- A smaller sitting room overlooking the central garden
- A spacious lounge with glass doors opening to the outdoor garden
The upper floor also includes a lovely sitting room with views over the village cricket ground – a perfect spot for families to gather for birthdays, anniversaries, or a quiet afternoon together.
The ground-floor layout follows a circular pathway, allowing residents to move freely without reaching a dead end, helping promote independence and reducing feelings of confinement.
